 About the Google Educator Level 1 Exam

The Google Certified Educator exam covers all the basic workings and functions of Google Applications. The fee for taking the exam is $10 and you will be given 3 hours to finish the test. While taking the exam, you are not able to stop or pause the timer during that three-hour period.

There are 20 multiple response questions that you will need to answer. While the practice modules primarily focus is on fill-in-the-blank style questions, there will not be any on the actual exam. After the multiple response questions, you will need to complete a few performance assessments that take the form of mini-tasks.
